Ō-yoroi - future tech samurai armor

Another week, another Design!
"Ō-yoroi" is japanese and means great armor. It was the attire worn by samurai warriors in feudal Japan.
My idea was to bring this traditional robe and adapt it to a futuristic setting.
there is a certain feeling you get combining old and new.
Also I fell in love with the color palette in Adrian Majkrzaks Destiny 2 concept art and applied it to my design:
